The “End of the World.” Sounds like a suspense novel … a song…or a Hollywood movie. But it’s actually where you’re going on this 10-day vacation. And Monograms makes it easy for you! We’ve arranged your hotel reservations, daily breakfast (plus two lunches and three dinners), sightseeing, and a 4-night cruise to the “End of the World.” Plus, we offer a one-of-a-kind special feature…a Monograms Local Host® in each city: Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas & Santiago. Your Local Hosts are there to answer questions, offer suggestions, make sure your holiday runs smoothly, and help you personalise your holiday.
Your holiday begins as soon as you arrive in Buenos Aires. So you can avoid the hassles of getting to your hotel, we can meet you at the airport. At your selected hotel, your Local Host will welcome you with a packet of information, so you can begin exploring immediately. The next day, after your included breakfast, we’ll pick you up at your hotel for private sightseeing with a local expert. Hear the inside stories and see attractions such as the Cemetery of the Recoleta, burial site of Eva Peron. And Buenos Aires is not the only city you’ll visit on this vacation.
You’ll witness breathtaking scenery as you travel to Ushuaia, where upon arrival, your Local Host will help you get settled. This is this southernmost city in the world, dubbed the “End of the World,” and from here, we’ve arranged for you to enjoy a private tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Witness the jaw-dropping scenery with pristine lakes, snowcapped mountains, and abundant flora and fauna. After included breakfast the next day, embark your 3-night cruise through Southern Patagonia, including stops to see Cape Horn, Wulaia Bay, Pia and Garibakdi Glaciers, Agostin Sound, Águila Glacier, Condor Sound, Magdalena Island, Magellan Straight, and Punta Arenas. With expert Naturalists, you’ll cruise through breathtaking scenery, including channels, bays, fjords, and past massive glaciers, snowcapped mountains, and unexplored areas of incomparable beauty.
In Santiago, your included private sightseeing tour with a local expert starts at La Moneda, the official Government Palace. You’ll also see the 18th century cathedral and the Plaza de Armas.
Going to the “End of the World” may seem daunting, but our goal is to make it seamless for you. We’ve arranged the sightseeing, hotels, cruise, transportation, and we’ve also included a Local Host in each town—all to make sure you’re a happy traveller!
